The Eye and Aesthetic Clinic in Zlin is respected, non-national medical institution. It has been founded by Zlínské oční centrum, s.r.o. It disposes of state of art diagnostic and medical laser equipment and 3 chart rooms.
What we do
The clinic specialises in laser correction of refractory errors, cataract microsurgery, laser removal of enlarged vessels, cosmetic surgery and wrinkle smoothing with skin rejuvenation using cosmetic laser.

Our experience
The quality of care provided is guaranteed by year-long personal experience of the clinic’s head, doc. MUDr. Mgr. Zdeněk Smečka, CSc., who personally performs all laser corrections and cataract surgeries. Since 1991, dr. Smečka has used laser technology to correct refractory errors in 19,500 patients, ranking among Europe´s top ten specialists in the field. Dr. Smečka was the first in the Czech Republic to perform corrections of short-sightedness (1991), far-sightedness (1993) and combined astigmatizm (1996). He has also extensive experience in cataract microsurgery, so far having operated on 15,000 patients with this eye disease. Dr. Smečka leads a team of ten colleagues with extensive experience in the area of diagnosis and treatment of refractory errors and other eye conditions, as well as expertise in the field of aesthetic surgery.
